He was born and raised in Thessaloniki. He holds a degree on classical harmony, counterpoint and fugue. He began playing the bass guitar at the age of 14 when his local school band was in need of a bassist. He has taken 3 years of classes on the bass guitar,
9 years of music theory and he has also attended the courses and seminars of many significant musicians. Since 2008 he has been teaching private lessons of bass guitar and music theory. The last two years he has been working in the music school Synthesis (Thessaloniki), teaching bass guitar. His musical influences come from Jaco Pastorius, Marcus Miller, Stuart Hamm, Alain Caron, Flea, Gary Willis, Richard Bona, and others. He has also been influenced by Miles Davis, Fr d ric Chopin, Dave Weckl, Haig Yazdijan, and others. Andreas has joined many bands of many different kinds of music. Some of them are:. Free Soul, Al Coda, Stardust, User Manual, Pyrina Nefi, Giorgos Oikonomou (current band) and others. He also participated in two musical performances: a musical satire Palamakiste giati mousikwnomaste (2006) with the band Palamakismenoi and the musical performance of Giorgos Oikonomou entitled Time is running out (2013). In 2011 and 2013 he recorded the bass in the albums of Giorgos Oikonomou Within my silence and I m my shadow that were released by GO Music Productions.
